Rainbow moonstone is white labradorite with blue iridescence, from the feldspar family, with a triclinic crystalline system and primary (magmatic) formation.
Labradorite is a stone which reflections (flashes) are revealed when the light is on. It is normal that the flash doesn't appear all the time (see photos).
